Kauai Hawaii | Travel Photography

September 2016.  No school for the kids!  I pulled the kids out of school for a week-long vacation (kiddos actually missed only 2.5 half days of school).  We've been to Hawaii numerous times but this was our first trip to Kauai, the Garden Island.  The landscape is absolutely lush and stunning.  Except for the last night, we stayed on the wet side of island (the north side) in Princeville.  It seemed to rain every day at 5am and 5pm.  Otherwise, weather was wonderful and we had a great family vacation!

How waterfalls do you see?  This is along the island's northern shore near the famous NaPali Coast.

We spent most of our time at the beach and the pool.

On our last night, we stayed in Lihue near the airport for an early flight back home via Honolulu.
